Restaurants in Santa Teresa

Places to Eat in Santa Teres

I wish I could say that we get out to eat to try all of the wonderful restaurants in the Mal Pais / Santa Teresa often, but the truth of the matter is that we do not get to go out to eat as much as we like. The main reason is that most of the restaurants in the area are outside of our budget. That does not mean that we do not go out to enjoy a meal out from time to time, it just means that most of the time we are preparing meals for ourselves at the house.

The Price of Meals in Santa Teresa

The average meal is going to run you between $12-$22 dollars a plate, the average drink is going to run you between $4-$8 a drink. If you times the plates by three (let’s say the kids share) and the drinks by four or five, your family dinner is going to run you between $80 and $100 dollars.

You might be able to save a little on breakfast or lunch, but for the most part we are not going to get a meal for under $50. That is not to say that their are not exceptions to the rule, like if you eat at one of the local sodas, but for the most part you are going to pay more than you would in the U.S. for a family meal.
