Our Vineyard

June 2, 2009 by ricky in Garden with 0 Comments

Our neighbor Conrad planted a grapevine in his backyard last Fall and since we share a fence, we also share the fruit. The grapes are getting bigger every day and there are plenty to go around. We’ve heard that grapes attract every kind of critter out there, especially raccoons. Luckily we haven’t spotted any yet, but the grapes are still maturing.

The other shot is of the “first” garden we planted along the fence. We planted four tomato plants a couple of months ago and the soil was so fertile that multiple tomatoes from the garden we planted last year sprouted to! So now we have a tomato forest thing going on. Good thing our whole family loves tomatoes, Judah and the chickens included.
