Last week we went for a road trip up to Pasadena to visit Ricky’s Grandma GG “Great Grandma”. The ride up there was simple enough when we timed it to coincide with Eli’s morning nap. While we were there we enjoyed visiting with Grandma and spending time in her yard. She has a beautiful shade [...] Our Labrador, Judah, can be a bit of a handful sometimes most of the time. He runs out the back door at every chance he gets, stops every few feet on a walk to sniff/pee/eat, and will devour darn near anything resembling a food item if given the slightest opportunity. Last week he managed to get [...] On Saturday we decided to drive to Carmel Valley to check out the Evergreen Plant Nursery and pick up some flowers for the hanging pots in the yard. It was the largest wholesale nursery I’d ever been to. Basically they give you a map of the grounds and you drive around and load up your [...] Lyndsey had to take some pictures the other day, it turns out that Eli and I were wearing the same outfit. Black Tee, Blue Pants, Brown socks/shoes. We didn’t really notice until we were sitting together in the yard. This little guy has been such a joy to be around. Aquaponics is is the symbiotic cultivation of plants and aquatic animals in a recirculating environment. Fish waste from the pond/tank accumulates in water as a by-product of keeping them in a closed system.
