Our good friends Summer and Stefan are in town for the next few months. They have the daughter Sydney that is two months older than Eli. She is already pretty mobile which has got me a little nervous about what Eli will be getting into as soon as he learns how to move around. So [...] Last Saturday we decided to get out of the house for a little so Lyndsey got on Craig’s List and found a lady that sales water plants out her yard in Imperial Beach. We didn’t quite know what to expect when we got there, but upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised. Lisa, the owner of [...] Eli will be 7 months old this week! We spent some time working on the fish pond this weekend in between chasing a cat out of the chicken coop and battling a cold. More pics of the newest family members to follow… 24 new goldfish. It turns out that the 7.2 magnitude earthquake on Easter Sunday just outside of Mexicali in the Mexican State of Baja California was only just the beginning. We felt another quake on Monday morning, and more small trembles throughout the week. Then Lyndsey came home from her sign language class with Eli this afternoon and [...] Eli looked pretty sharp for the Easter Brunch we hosted at our house. It turned out to be a beautiful day despite the 7.2 earthquake that shook us up that afternoon! Nobody had ever felt a trembler that big before so it really made for a memorable day.
