This brewing baby thing just keeps on ticking by, slowly grinding away time until it turns into the raising baby thing. I know that in no time we will be transformed from a couple to a family, and I can only be excited and anxious wondering what that actually means. The artichoke plant is producing like crazy, I took this picture yesterday and counted over 25+ artichokes. We have been able to have an artichoke every other night or so with dinner and they are super tasty. The gross part is when you clean them you need to hold them under water for awhile [...] Lyndsey and I decided to take the boat out yesterday for a little cruise. The weather was nice , the wind was blowing as the flags were flying. We invited our dog Judah, who obviously wanted to come by the way he wagged his tail back and forth when we asked him, so off we [...] This may or may not be interesting to you, but it still blows my mind. That is how food obsessed my 6 year old Lab is. I can’t believe that it still blows my mind, I mean he has bean this way from the first day we had him at 3 months old. I remember [...] Week 22.We celebrated our first mothers day. Which meant Judah got a bath and Lyndsey got a specail breakfest burrito from Niko’s….Yummy Our cactus starting budding a couple of weeks ago and most of those buds turned out to be flowers! When the little buds started to appear we got a little nervous because last year those tiny little buds rapidly turned into huge cactus parts over a couple of weeks. It literally doubles the size of [...] I noticed the past few days that are chickens didn’t have but one egg in their nesting boxes. I though that perhaps they were just taking a break, but after three days I started to get a little suspicious. When they first started laying eggs about 6 months ago, they would randomly lay eggs [...] We are over half way there, wow, oops, hooray!! Needless to say we are very excited and nervous. This is our first child so we really have no idea what to expect. It is funny to see the changes in both of us we prepare ourselves for parenthood. What we like, what we don’t like, [...] |
