We made it to the halfway point, 20 weeks and counting! I have started to feel little “Jr” punch, kick, and roll around in my belly this past week or so. Actually i’m pretty sure I felt it before then, but not having had the experience before, brushed it off as hunger or other tummy [...] After waiting many months for our ginormous artichoke plant to do something other than take up 85% of our center garden, I noticed a little artichoke sprouting from the center today. The plant had gotten so big that my Mom had commented that it looked like the plant from the “Little Shop of Horrors” movie! [...] The Nesting bug continues as Lyndsey slowly fills in our space with goodies for the little one. This time Lyndsey has come out with a cool homemade mobile to hang over the little ones crib, from a design she found online. After cutting out a few dozen patterns she sewed them together and stuffed [...] We are slowly getting ready for the baby. Lyndsey is continuing to NEST in ways that I would have never thought of. Our home is slowly being filled with all kinds of baby clothes, baby supplies and baby gadgets. We went in on Thursday for our Level 2 ultrasound. My mom got in town the day before so I had scheduled the appointment when we could all be there. It was so exciting being able to look at the baby so close and personal. Our tech spent alot of time doing measurements and pointing [...] My original heating system for the Hippie Hot tub was sub par to say the least. With that being said, last weekend I spent a little bit of time upgrading the heating system. The first thing that I did was move the horse trough to an area that we would get more use out of [...] |
