Family Ranch Trip in South Texas

family-photo

We took a trip back to the states to visit family, and the first thing that we did was head down to South Texas to spend time at one of my fathers friend’s ranch. We were joined by my sister’s family and my brother’s family, making it the first time all of us did a family trip together since we all had families of our own.

My sister’s family brought down my father’s RV and stayed in it, while the rest of stayed in the big ranch house built back in the 1950’s. We spent the week taking out the ATV’s, fishing and shooting guns. It was a nice transition for our kids leaving the jungle and getting back into a different type of civilization. The weather was a little cooler than we were use to, but I have to say it was nice change from the constant tropical heat. It was also great to get spend one on one time with their cousins and grandparents.
