Easter Earthquake!

Eli looked pretty sharp for the Easter Brunch we hosted at our house. It turned out to be a beautiful day despite the 7.2 earthquake that shook us up that afternoon! Nobody had ever felt a trembler that big before so it really made for a memorable day. We had a couple of vases fall off the shelves but no major damage.

The quake was located 140miles South East in Baja California, Mexico. The nearest cities Tecate and Mexicali sustained the most damage and it’s been reported that as many as 25,000 have been left temporarily homeless. “Damage from the powerful quake was reported as far north as Orange County, with elevator service affected in some Los Angeles high-rises and people as far as Phoenix and Las Vegas saying they felt it.”
