Christmas from el’ Carib

The Coburns in PR

We have been in the Caribbean for just over a month and have been having a wonderful time. It is a little different celebrating Christmas in the tropics  being that the weather is completely ideal, no ugly sweaters around here. Eli has been growing so much that  it is blowing our minds. He is a full walker now and pretty much a runner. He likes playing in the water, especially the little waves in the bay.  He has also learned how to make all kinds of sounds, including those of frogs, cows and horses.  He has also started using all kinds of new words like agua (water), adios (good by) and he even will occasionally say Hola (hello) to the old ladies sitting on their front porch in their night gown moo moos as Lyndsey and him walk by on their daily walks. Another word he picked up is ‘fireworks!’, that is probably due to the fact that we now light off fireworks every night after dinner and before bath time, gotta love el’ carib.

The Fam

We have so much to be thankful for this holiday season, we do however miss our families very much this time of year and wish that we could be with them to celebrate Christmas.
