We have been in the Caribbean just over two months now and have been having a great time. The waves finally died down a couple of weeks ago, which pretty much lags, but every good thing must come to an end. We decided to get our tickets back to San Diego for Feb. 23rd which will [...] I have been helping our friends build a chicken coop so that they can start raising there own hens and producing their own eggs. The week before I helped them build a compost pile so that they could start composting their yard waist on a larger scale, now we move into coop development. After researching [...] We have been in the Caribbean for just over a month and have been having a wonderful time. It is a little different celebrating Christmas in the tropics being that the weather is completely ideal, no ugly sweaters around here. Eli has been growing so much that it is blowing our minds. He is a [...] We have had another great week down in Puerto Rico. The waves were really good last week so needless to say I was blessed with a lot of great sessions with waves pushing a few feet over head on some of the better sets. Both Lyndsey and I have been taking a lot of photos [...] the familly on top of a water tower watching the sun set I guess what makes this first week in the Caribbean just that much sweeter hit me when I was talking to our friend and house sitter in San Diego the other day to get caught up on what was happening while we were [...] La Punta Rincon, PR We had such a wonderful thanksgiving yesterday and have so much to be thankful for. Our hosts, Stefan and Summer had some friends over to celebrate the day together with. We had somewhere around 14 adults and four little kids running around the house having a great afternoon. With the exception [...] We left San Diego on a Jet Blue flight at 9pm Monday night and landed in Aguadilla Airport in Puerto Rico around 11am Tuesday morning. It was a long flight with a hour lay over at JFK in New York. Eli did really really good considering how long we were on the plane. [...] Next week we will be leaving for our trip to Puerto Rico. We will be staying on the the North West side of the Island in a little town called Rincon. I grabbed the following information about Rincon from our friends website http://ca2pr.com Geographic Location of Rincon Rincon Puerto Rico is located on the extreme North West [...] Lyndsey, Eli and I are taking off a week from Monday for the holidays. It will be a vacation work holiday experiment all wrapped up into one. We are leaving on Nov. 22 and coming back after the new year.
